|This is a view you could be enjoying - taken from the footplate of 7820 Dinmore Manor approaching Winchcombe (Ian Crowder)|
Once again during the Cotswold Festival of Steam, 27th, 28th and 29th May, a very privileged few will be able to enjoy a footplate ride between Toddington and Cheltenham Racecourse or vice-versa.
Over the three days there threre will be only 18 chances to ride on one of the railway's resident fleet of locomotives (Nos 2807, 4270, 7820 and 7903).
And the cost? Just £85!
That's remarkable value for money for a real 'red letter day' experience that just can't ordinarily be bought. What's more, the price includes entry to the event, making your experience even better value. It means that you can travel 'on the cushions' as much as you like during the day or perhaps take a brake van ride as well on the day of your visit.
