Travel to the Fireworks by Train

Why not park your car free at Toddington Station and travel by a heritage diesel hauled train on the all-volunteer Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway to Cheltenham Race Course, where the Cheltenham Round Table will be holding their annual Fireworks Extravaganza?

All this takes place on Saturday November 4th 2006. The train will leave Toddington Station at 6:00pm and arrive at Cheltenham Race Course Station well in time for the start of the huge fireworks display at about 7:15pm. The return journey will commence at 8:30pm prompt and the train will arrive back at Toddington just after 9pm.

Normal fares apply. Train ticket prices are £9.50 adults, £8 for senior citizens and £6 for children aged 5 to 15, with younger children travelling free. These prices do not include the cost of entry to the fireworks display. GWR members and shareholders vouchers are not valid on this train.

Just turn up – no advance booking required.

Important notes:
This special train is a diesel hauled service. It departs Toddington at 6:00pm, and will depart from Cheltenham Race Course at 8:30pm. The train ticket does not include entry to the firework display.
