Gotherington has a short platform; please alight from the first two coaches only (the two coaches immediately behind the locomotive) in either direction. If you wish to join the train, signal clearly to the driver as the train approaches. If you wish to leave the train here, please inform station staff and the guard and make sure you travel in one of the first two coaches in the train.
