Christmas 2006 Santa Specials

During December we run our very popular Santa Specials, where families meet Santa in person.

He will give all your children a present, and while you are there you can enjoy our complementary mince pies and a cup of tea or coffee, with squash and biscuits for the children. There is also a shop for those special (or perhaps last minute) gifts.

Adults and children travel for £10.00 each. Children under the age of 24 months travel for free, and receive a small gift from Santa.

There is a large free car park at Toddington. Light refreshments are available at Toddington from the Flag & Whistle tea rooms.

Santa Specials run on the following days during December 2006:

• 2nd December (Saturday)
• 3rd December (Sunday)
• 9th December (Saturday)
• 10th December (Sunday) - some trains full
• 16th December (Saturday) - all trains full
• 17th December (Sunday) - all trains full
• 22nd December (Friday)
• 23rd December (Saturday) - all trains full
• 24th December (Sunday) - all trains full

Trains depart from Toddington at 10:30, 12:00, 13:30 and 15:00.

To book your places on a Santa Special, please print out and complete the booking form (see below). To increase your chance of making a successful booking, please supply us with up to 3 dates, indicating your first, second and third choices. Return the booking form to us at the address on the form, ensuring that you enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope so that we can return the tickets to you.

Please note the following:

• Pre-booking is essential.
• We're sorry, but refunds cannot be made once bookings have been accepted.
• If you wish to change the date or time of your visit, assuming there is availability for the new date and time you choose, there will be £5 administration charge.

We are unable to accept bookings by email. Telephone bookings will be accepted from Monday the 2nd of October, but you are advised to book early by post. Tickets will not be sent out until November.

Unfortunately, we do not have an online booking facility. However, you can download a form for printing and return it by post (the return address and other details are on the form).

Please note: although every effort will be made to run the trains as advertised, the GWSR reservers the right to cancel, alter or suspend any service without notice. The liability in the case of cancellation will be limited to a refund of the appropriate part of the fare.
