Search tips:
- use complete words
- enter the most important words first
- don’t use words like “in”, “and”, “the” and so on.
- do not use quotation marks (that is, “”) - they don’t work!
- some of the results returned may be links to pages that are not supposed to be displayed on their own (such as the locomotive database). Such pages are easily identified, because they don’t contain the GWR logo in the
top left corner.
- this search does not include the online shop or the departmental mini-websites.
- the search index can sometimes be slightly out of date, so some recent pages may not be included in the search.
- if you can’t the information you’re looking for, please contact the webmaster through our online form (make sure you select the last option on the list).
- ignore any results with really low scores!
