You're familiar with our locomotive roster but here's a new one: the bus roster! The GWR's first combined diesel gala and bus rally is this coming weekend: while the heritage diesel train services are running throughout Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 4th 5th and 6th July (click here for the working timetable).  On 6th July, organiser Jim Clarke tells usthat: "With a couple of late bookings we'll have 40 buses crammed into Toddington car park - a fantastic display and this is going to be a really exciting day."

During the day there will be links between Cheltenham Race Course and Cheltenham Spa stations and between Toddington and Evesham stations, linking with services on Network Rail. And during the day, there will be a regular service between Toddington and Broadway, setting down at the Fox & Hounds pub and picking up from the nearby Village Hall.
