The weather forecast is better so we're looking forward to a bumper turnout for the last two days of the Cotswold Festival of Steam and do we have a weekend in store!

  • SEVEN ENGINES working throughout each day
  • COFFE POT service with TWO HISTORIC AUTO TRAILERS bringing back memories of pre-1960 trains on the Honeybourne Line - first and last trains of the day to Cheltenham (09.00 from Toddington/09.40 from Cheltenham and 17.40 from Toddington/18.15 from Cheltenham)
  • 850 LORD NELSON available for inspection at Toddington (we're sorry it isn't running because of firebox problems)
  • LOADED BALLAST TRAIN running between Toddington and Winchcombe
  • DOUBLE HEADED trains - don't miss the 17.20 from Cheltenham with 34007 and 92203 recalling the days of the Pines Express - click here for the timetable
  • FOOTPLATE VISITS at Winchcombe and Cheltenham stations
  • SIGNALBOX VISITS at Cheltenham
  • TOURS OF CARRIAGE AND WAGON WORKS at Winchcombe
  • STANDS AND STALLS at Toddington and Winchcombe
  • PAINTINGS BY FREDERICK LEA at Cheltenham
  • BOOK SIGNING by John Stretton

And on Sunday 1st June, all this plus:

  • DAVID SHEPHERD and Black Prince - looking back over 40 years (at Winchcombe) - click here for information
  • RAF BATTLE OF BRITAIN MEMORIAL FLIGHT Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane fly over at 14.55 - click here for the full story

Don't forget to buy a copy of the Festival Guide - a great, full-colour summary of everything happening with profiles of the locomotives and some superb photographs - a fantastic souvenir of your visit!

Follow the AA signs to Toddington station. Or go to Cheltenham Racecourse and follow the signs within the Racecourse grounds - the station is at the end of the spine road.
