The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway is now a member of
'Easy Fund Raising', a novel idea that lets supporters do internet
shopping at normal market prices with the advantage that a
commission is paid to the Railway for the 'introduction'.
Commission ranges from 5 - 15 per cent depending on the products
you are buying and most household names are signed up from Amazon
to John Lewis.
Go to www.EasyFundRaising.org.uk
and give it a try for yourself. Register as a user on the site and
select the GWR as the charity/organisation you wish to support.
Malcolm Temple, finance director of GWSR Plc, says: "This is a
great way of helping your favourite heritage railway. It costs you
absolutely nothing but we all benefit. After all, the more income
we can generate the more gets ploughed into projects such as the
Broadway extension.
"Please give it a try and tell your family, friends and
colleagues - after all, to use the slogan of Tesco, one retailer
listed on Easy Fund Raising, 'every little helps'!"
