For many people, enjoying traditional carols forms a vital part of Christmas, bringing the 'good news' of Jesus' birth with some of the best known and loved melodies. You can enjoy the GWR's annual charity carol service with the Salvation Army band at Winchcombe station, by taking a special steam train from Toddington on Saturday 5th December. Bridge works progressing well

Work on repairing damage and corrosion to the steel span of the rail-over bridge at Gretton has been completed and the road reopened, three weeks early. Meanwhile, the new concrete deck for the missing bridge at Laverton has been cast and will be installed soon.
