Plans for the GWR's annual May gala are well under way. From 23-25 May, event's theme will be 'Speed to the West' - evoking the lazy, hazy days of summer when the family upped sticks and travelled by train to the seaside

The GWR is throwing its doors open to anyone who thinks that they might like to become a volunteer. The railway depends on volunteers to fulfill pretty much every aspect of running one of the major tourist attractions in the Cotswolds. The recruitment fair is on Saturday and Sunday, 21 and 22 March 2015

As another year dawns for the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway, results in the 2014 Cotswold Tourism Awards have been announced - and the GWR picks up an accolade for the second year running
