You can hire a train - or the railway - for
special occasions. You can hire a train for parties of up to 250,
again with light refreshments. Our Elegant Excursions dining train is an
ideal venue for a corporate event, a special dinner or a wedding
reception for up to 100 guests.
Visitors with impaired mobility are welcome.
Wheelchairs can be accommodated in specially converted carriages.
It helps to let us know that you are coming, so that staff are
available to assist in any way possible. Although the platform
at Cheltenham Racecourse is normally reached by a slope which may
be difficult for customers with impaired mobility, we now also have
virtually flat access at the end of the platform. There are toilets
for disabled visitors at Toddington, Winchcombe and Cheltenham
Racecourse stations. Full details are here.
No Smoking! For the comfort of our passengers
and to preserve the interiors of our historic carriages, smoking is
not permitted on our trains.
Important safety information. We hope you enjoy
your visit. To make sure you do, please take care:
- not to lean out of the windows.
- not to open doors while the train is moving - and watch little
fingers in door jambs.
- to mind the gap between train and platform.
- never to walk on or near the track.
Dogs. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
Important information about Gotherington: If
your plan to alight at Gotherington, please make your way
to one of the front two coaches as the platform here is of limited
length.
Non-operating days. Stations are closed on
non-operating days except for weekends at Toddington, where the
station and shop are open for visitors.
