B&S Dept constructs and maintains our buildings and services. A very busy department that will suit anyone with basic DIY skills and interests but if you can offer a building trade as a volunteer then come along and talk to us. If you are a practical person and are prepared to learn then our more experienced volunteers will make sure that you become a very useful member of the department. You could be asked to work anywhere on our railway undercover or not depending upon the current project. B&S work on Saturdays and on some weekdays.
