Signalling - operational signalling of trains
article by: Garry Owen
A team of volunteers is responsible for manning the signal boxes
throughout the length of our line. At the moment there are three
such boxes, at Toddington, Winchcombe and Cheltenham. This is a
most vital, safety critical job for which full training is given
followed by examinations. Depending upon past experience it may be
some long months before you become a 'passed signalman'.
