Cheltenham RACE COURSE Station
Train services restart on 15th August. However, Cheltenham Race Course Station will remain closed. Passengers can only start and end their journeys at Toddington. Services will stop at Cheltenham Race Course long enough for passengers to use the station's toilet facilities.
As its name suggests, our Cheltenham Race Course Station is within the boundaries of the famous Cheltenham Racecourse and it is the southern terminus of our line. By another GWR quirk, our station name has 'Race Course' as two separate words. The booking office is at car park level and is the original 'flat-pack' building made at Swindon and transported here for assembly. The platforms are normally reached by a long ramp down to Platform 1, although there is level access for disabled visitors.
You can find details of how to reach us by road here.
If you wish to use public transport, there are details of services here.
Full details of accessibility to Cheltenham Race Course Station can be found in our Access Statement available here.
There is a reasonalbly sized hard surface car park at Cheltenham Race Course Station. Access is via the main Racecourse entrance. On some race-meeting dates parking may be limited or alternative parking may be provided. Check our Events web page for information. The management will not accept responsibility for any damage, accidents or losses.
Washrooms and Toilets
We have a modern toilet block located on Platform 1. There are facilities for nappy changing and an accessible toilet.
