Timetable AND MAP
After a considerable amount of hard work, the timetables for the three days are now available. Click on this link to download your own copy which you can print off and bring with you to the event (timetables will be available on the day of your visit too).
There is a fascinating mix of services too including a local service which stops at Hayles Abbey Halt. And if you want to enjoy the unique experience of travelling behind the Sentinel 4wvb no. 7109 Joyce then make sure you are ready to depart Toddington station before 08.45 for the gentle 20-minute journey to Winchcombe. There are double-headed opportunties too, as well as the 'Mendip Merchantman' and 'Pines Express' to savour. The freight train offers opportunities to travel in the guards van, tickets available on the day, first-come, first-served. On the three resident GWSR tender locomotives (35006, 7820 and 7903) you can book a footplate ride in advance - but these are likely to be snapped up quickly!
We hope your visit will be enjoyable and fulfilling. If this is your first visit to the GWSR then we hope it inspires you to visit again. If you are a regular, then thank you for coming and hopefully you'll count this as one of our best events.
